Living in Fresno

Living in Fresno is a unique experience.  We have a medium-sized Metropolitan area including the cities of Fresno and Clovis.  The Fresno/Clovis Metropolitan area is home to over 500,000 people with a population of almost 1,000,000 including the surrounding rural communities.  Fresno is located in California's Central Valley.  The Central Valley is known for our agricultural industries, but we are also attracting new businesses in the larger metropolitan area.  Fresno is also uniquely located to be about 2 hours from beach communities or Yosemite National Park.  For those who prefer to live outside of the larger cities, we have several smaller communities in the rural area within a short drive.  Below are some of the communities and amenities our members live in and enjoy.  Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with the area we call home.

The City of Fresno is a medium-sized metropolis which plays host to a diverse population.  You can click above to visit the website for the City of Fresno.  Below, you will find links to public resources and popular entertainment venues.

While there are several other small cities around Fresno, Kerman is one of the most prominent in our membership.  The City of Kerman has a population just under 15,000 in the city, but the surrounding agricultural area contributes to the Kerman community.  Kerman is a short drive (about 15 minutes from the city center) to Fresno.  For those who wish to live in a smaller community, Kerman is just the place.
